It has been a while since I was on someone else’s podcast. I have been busy cranking out episodes of Compounders and launching a new investment strategy. But when my friend, Toby Carlisle, asked me to be on the podcast he hosts with Jake Taylor, I was excited to participate. Toby and I had talked in depth about the microcap opportunity strategy that I have been incubating. As a fellow value investor and a guy who has his own small and microcap ETF, Toby wanted to have me on to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with what I continue to see is a nuanced approach to investing in microcaps. Lastly, my podcast partner, Bobby Kraft, has been preoccupied with planning the Planet Microcap Showcase in Vegas (which I attended and was a lot of fun), and therefore we are a little bit behind on getting Compounders episodes out.
